Today again here are my thoughts that I wrote in my thought question assignment in my Stanford University based course "International Women's Health and Human Rights". I look forward to your thoughts.

Providing education for girls is directly related to a number of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as:

SDG 1: No Poverty: Girls with more education have greater economic opportunities, which can assist in pulling families out of poverty.

SDG 3: Well-being and Good Health: Girls who receive an education have better health results for themselves and their family because they are more aware of hygiene and medical procedures.


SDG 4: Quality Education: By encouraging possibilities for lifelong learning, this target specifically seeks to guarantee inclusive and equitable quality education for everyone, including girls.

SDG 5: Gender Equality: The goal of SDG 5—achieving gender equality and empowering all women and girls—can be accomplished by giving females access to education.

Also, the content of the articles and videos in the course shows that supporting girls' education is directly proportional to the level of prosperity of states. Even as I write or read these lines, I hope that we can accept the fact that there are thousands of girls in an unknown village or town in the world who are yearning for the opportunity of education and that we can at least start from our environment and raise awareness as much as we can. Here's to many more years of hope together.

In conclusion, educating females provides a multiplicity of benefits that extend beyond the immediate attainment of SDGs 1, 3, 4, and 5 ultimately fostering sustainable development and a more just society.

 Bir zamanlar öğretmen sınıfa girdiğinde sadece bir insan girmezdi içeri; bilgi girerdi, otorite girerdi, hatta biraz da hayranlık… Ayağa kalkardık. Bu bir korku refleksi değildi yalnızca. İçimizde tuhaf bir saygı vardı. Onun bizden fazla bildiğini, bizden önce yürüdüğünü, bizden önce düştüğünü ve kalktığını sezerdik. Azarladığında kırılırdık belki. Ama içimizden sessizce “bildiği bir şey vardır” derdik. Çünkü öğretmenin öfkesi bile emek kokardı. Sınır koyması, bizi küçük görmekten değil; büyütmek istemesindendi. Şimdi ise bazı bakışlarda öğretmen, sınıfın bir parçası sadece. Tahta gibi. Sıra gibi. Varlığı sıradan, duygusu görünmez. Üzerine öfke bırakılabilen, hırs boşaltılabilen bir yüzey gibi… Ne oldu bize? Otoriteyi baskıyla karıştırdık. Baskıyı yıkmaya çalışırken saygıyı da arada ezdik. Sınır koymayı sevgisizlik sandık. Ekranların arkasında büyürken, karşımızdaki insanın gözlerinin içine bakmayı unuttuk. Ve belki de en tehlikelisi şu oldu: Öğretmenin de bir kalbi ol...

Sorun Sandığımızdan Daha Derin

Bu Çocuklar Neden Bu Kadar Rahat Şiddete Başvuruyor? Sorun Sandığımızdan Daha Derin Mersin, Adana, Şanlıurfa, Kahramanmaraş, Gaziantep… Haberler birbirine benziyor: Bir öğrenci, elinde bıçak ya da silahla okula giriyor. Bir tartışma, bir öfke anı… ve geri dönüşü olmayan sonuçlar. Herkes aynı cümleyi kuruyor: “Psikolojik sorunları vardı.” Gerçekten mi? Yoksa bu, asıl sorunu konuşmamak için sığındığımız en kolay açıklama mı? Çünkü dürüst olalım: Bizim de sorunlarımız vardı. Biz de öfkelendik, dışlandık, kırıldık, hatta bazen haksızlığa uğradık. Ama hiçbirimiz okula silahla gitmedik. Demek ki mesele sadece “psikoloji” değil. Asıl soru şu: Bugünün gençleri neden şiddeti bu kadar hızlı ve rahat bir seçenek olarak görüyor? Bunun cevaplarından biri, giderek zayıflayan aile otoritesinde saklı olabilir. Eskiden aile sadece bir “barınma alanı” değil, aynı zamanda sınırların öğretildiği bir yerdi.  Hello taken from here What does " Jin, Jiyan, Azadî" mean? Friends, this expression means Woman, Life, Freedom in Kurdish. In short, we can say that if there is a woman, there is life, if there is a woman, there is freedom. It's International Women's Day, and the world is wearing colors of empowerment on this beautiful March 8. A choir of voices emerges, honoring the grace and tenacity of women everywhere, from peaceful rural lanes to busy metropolitan streets. Women are the weavers of power, compassion, and limitless possibilities in the fabric of existence. They blaze paths and shatter boundaries as they act as rays of hope. We celebrate their path, their victories, and their steadfast spirit today. As supporters and champions, let us promise to walk hand in hand with them as we shape a future in which equality is paramount and the dreams of all women are unattainable. Happy International Women's Day, folks! :)
